This is a larger, 24 bit version of the small, 8 bit image I posted on the archives earlier. It is a ray-traced picture of a PowerMac 8100 that can be just viewed, used as a startup screen, or used in a slide show. It is saved as a PICT file which can be converted to a StartupScreen by using the program PICTFlipper (written by Jon Pugh and available on sumex and other archives).
The scene took about a week of spare time to build using POV-Ray (available at ftp.uwa.edu.au). It is rather large for the people with the HUGE monitors :-)
I have also included the smaller (640 x 480) 8 bit version of the picture with some improvements over the last image posted.
If you like it, have any questions or suggestions, or encounter problems let me know. Thanks and Enjoy!
